Term: NUMBER_BASE

Definition:
NUMBER_BASE is the primitive type from which NUMBER type is evolved. It is the root or parent object of NUMBER family.
As per the definition of NUMBER data type in the STANDARD package, it states as

type NUMBER is NUMBER_BASE
