Thar be an error though - got the following when trying to upload my avatar

The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved.

It's not a bug, it's a feature.   We're not sure if we'll be opening that up...we probably will, but we have a few more rough edges to sand down first.
