The trial was originally scheduled to be heard by a U.S. district court in San Francisco in February 2010, but in May the two companies asked to have the start of litigation postponed until June 2010.
U.S. software firm Oracle brought a lawsuit against SAP in March 2007, alleging that TomorrowNow Inc., which SAP bought in 2005, illegally obtained and reused Oracle software-support documentation.
SAP has already admitted some wrongdoing by TomorrowNow employees, and SAP shut down TomorrowNow in October 2008.
