Snippet Name: CHARTOROWID

Description: CHARTOROWID converts a value from CHAR, VARCHAR2, NCHAR, or NVARCHAR2 datatype to ROWID datatype.

This function does not support CLOB data directly. However, CLOBs can be passed in as arguments through implicit data conversion.
